Padraic S. McMeel

Padraic McMeel joined the Mt. Pleasant Area Chamber of Commerce in December 2024. Padraic obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Arts and a Masters of Arts from Central Michigan University. Padraic returns to Mt. Pleasant after a career in collegiate athletics management. As a MPHS and CMU graduate, McMeel and his wife, Ashley, wanted to set roots for their two children, daughter Logan and son Casen, close to family; returning to Mt. Pleasant, a community they know and love, made sense for them. McMeel brings the attitude and background to support sustaining great business in Mt. Pleasant. His previous work as a board and committee member with several chambers of commerce throughout his career positions him to see the untapped resources in our own community. His extensive experience collaborating with visitor and economic development partners will strengthen the Mt. Pleasant Area Chamber of Commerce.

Jamie Pierson joined the Mt. Pleasant Area Chamber of Commerce in December 2013. Jamie obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Management from American Intercontinental University. She enjoys spending time with her family and attending her children's sporting events. Jamie is married to Eric Pierson Sr., who works for Gratiot-Isabella RESD and for the City of Mt. Pleasant. They have three children, Eric II, Jasmine, and Ace, and one granddaughter, Paisley.

Kaitlin Otteman joined the Mt. Pleasant Area Chamber of Commerce in February 2025. She graduated from Central Michigan University in May 2025 with a Bachelor of Science in Public and Nonprofit Administration, and minors in Event Management and Political Science. Kaitlin is a lifelong Mt. Pleasant resident and enjoys reading, crafting, and spending time with friends and family, preferably at her lake house.

Jessica Lucchesi joined the Mt. Pleasant Area Chamber of Commerce in 2024. With experience in office management and education, she is currently co-owner and office manager of Next Level Espresso in Alma in addition to her position here at the Chamber. Jessica holds a bachelor’s degree from Alma College where she developed strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills. She enjoys playing board games, flower gardening, and spending time with her husband and their son.
