BIOGRAPHY -
MIRANDA WALKER
Miranda Walker has lived in Mount Pleasant, MI for all
her life and she can’t seem to get enough of this place. Every year
something new and exciting comes to this little town and Miranda loves
being able to experience and grow with it each year. During her free
time, Miranda enjoys spending time with her boyfriend, family,
friends, and Springer Spaniel, Riley.
Miranda is a graduate
with a Bachelor of Applied Arts Degree from Central Michigan
University. She majored in Apparel Merchandising with a minor in
Business Administration. After graduating in August 2007, Miranda
went on to become a manager for Old Navy in Okemos, MI. Here, she
gained her valuable customer service skills that she will bring to the
Chamber of Commerce to help promote growth within this community.
Miranda is the Office Coordinator with the Mt. Area Pleasant Chamber of
Commerce under our new roof that includes the Chamber, the Mt.
Pleasant Convention & Visitors Bureau, and Middle Michigan Development
Corporation. Her duties consist of greeting and providing assistance to
walk-in visitors, answering questions and providing information
through phone calls, as well as helping staff
in any way possible. Miranda is confident that her solid educational
background and exceptional work experience will make a great
contribution to the Chamber of Commerce.
